Users may now search, chat, and shop for products on WhatsApp Business.
- WhatsApp has made it simple to get in touch with companies and make purchases.
- Users of WhatsApp may now search for businesses by contact or category.
- Brazil, Colombia, Indonesia, and Mexico are all receiving the new function.
Another new feature for users of the Business profile has been released by WhatsApp, an instant messaging service owned by Meta. Users will be able to utilise this function to look up businesses on the network, talk with them, and even shop for things. With this upgrade, WhatsApp Business users will be able to explore businesses based on the category, such as banking or travel, or search for them by name. However, it is only available right now in a few number of nations, including as Brazil, Colombia, Indonesia, Mexico, and the UK.
In addition, users will be able to make direct purchases using WhatsApp rather than going to a website. The instant messaging service has partnered with a number of payment processors to enable users to make purchases right from the app.
The feature functions similarly to the JioMart Shopping experience that was recently launched in India. More nations are now being included to the expansion. According to WhatsApp, the feature is secure and will protect users' privacy.
People will also be able to use their credit or debit card information to make a safe payment directly from a chat.
The Polls feature and 'Communities' for group conversations were previously released by WhatsApp on both the Android and iOS interfaces. End-to-end encryption will be used to protect WhatsApp Polls, just like it is for other app features. Additionally, WhatsApp doubled the number of group members allowed and added one-tap video calling for up to 32 people.
